Capabilities

Time evidence the COLP can audit

Six tools that replace the spreadsheet — timers, weekly review, draft invoices and a matter-level audit trail.

One-click timers

Start and stop timers bound to the active matter. Time evidence captured against the matter; you remain responsible for billing decisions and rate justifications under SRA rules.

Weekly timesheets

Weekly view with daily totals and per-matter breakdowns. Review, amend and approve entries before they reach a draft invoice.

VAT-aware draft invoices

Generate VAT-aware draft invoices from approved time entries. Export as PDF for the fee-earner's review before any invoice is sent to a client.

Rate cards

Configure rates by matter type, fee-earner or client. Supports fixed fees, hourly rates and blended arrangements. Rate changes are audit-logged.

Time evidence from calls and research

Capture time evidence from video consultations and research sessions bound to a matter. The fee-earner reviews each entry before approval.

Client billing portal

Clients view itemised invoices and payment history through a secure, branded portal. Stripe integration deferred to post-beta.

How It Works

Three steps. Fee-earner signs off.

01

Capture time evidence

Start a timer on any matter or log manually with activity type and narrative. Every entry is audit-logged.

02

Review and approve

See all time in a weekly grid. Edit narratives, adjust durations and submit for approval. You remain responsible for billing decisions under SRA rules.

03

Draft invoice for sign-off

Generate a VAT-aware draft invoice from approved entries. The fee-earner reviews and signs off before the invoice goes to the client.
